Todd McAneeley

Todd was always interested in working with wood. He finally got serious about it in 1996 when he took a benchwork joinery course in Duncan, BC.

Just a few years after he finished the course, Todd opened a furniture making business and it involved custom furniture and kitchens, mostly in the Cowichan Valley. He did that for ten years and not long after, 2011, he began working for Live Edge Design and continues working there, but he also in 2014 began a wood art business which mostly is wood carving in a unique way. It is nature related carvings with domestic wildlife as a theme.

Todd will be starting a project that is commissioned for a Duncan resident soon that will be a sideboard with a carving of a branch with leaves on the doors. Very unique furniture piece made from reclaimed wood from the Cowichan Valley.

Todd has received a first place award and a second place award on a couple of international online art contests.
